European Cardiac MRI Registry

Cardiac magnetic resonance imaging (short: cardiac MRI) is an innovative diagnostic technique able to provide important information with a variety of diseases without the need of an invasive procedure. Jointly with the Imaging Task Force of the European Society of Cardiology, Stiftung IHF has been managing since 2009 a registry of 27,000 patients to date. Within the framework of the TeBiKom.Ruhr (Telemedizinische Bilddaten Kommunikation) joint project, two subprojects of this cardiac MRI registry are funded by the Land of North Rhine-Westphalia and the European Union: Subproject 1 “Suspected Coronary Artery Disease“ and Subproject 3 “Heart Failure“.
